My Wearable Structure!!! - Deconstruction

I was really unsure of what I wanted to do for my final piece. I wanted to do pleating, deconstruction, glue and cloth, or a combination of them.
I knew I definately wanted to do Deconstruction... so i when to a charity shop and bought 3 men's shirts.

I then unpicked all the sections of the skirts.
I then started to come up with different structure ideas, but i still wasn't happy with the outcomes.

I then decided to do a combination structure of Deconstruction and Glue and Cloth.
So i covered a chair with clingfilm, then nylon tights and watered down PVA glue.

To make my top i covered my mannequin in clingfilm. I did the same thing I had done on the chair but on the mannequin.

Here I am cutting of the glue and cloth structure off the chair.
After this I still was not satisfied, so i went back to Deconstruction.

This is the process of me making my final wearable strcuture.

This is my final Wearable Structure.
Deconstruction.

I really enjoyed this project becasue I learnt alot of new materials, techniques and designers.
This look was inspired by:
