First we had to make a base out of the calico; making it fit perfectly to the body of the mannequin.
We had to pin calico in place, dart it and make side seams, to makesure the calico fit correctly to the mannequin.
After the calico to the body we were then able to start draping on the mannequin...

What I really liked about this piece of work was the way I had pleated the fabric and the way it stood away from the mannequin. When looking at it you may think that it was the backview, however it's the front.
I love the detail on this piece, especially on the bust and below the bust.
